Pap special is a smooth fermented cereal porridge that is popularly referred to as “Ogi”, “Koko” or “Akamu” in Nigeria, West Africa.

Pap Special has classic “sour” taste that ogi or akamu is fondly known for. When cooked, it can be served with milk, sugar/honey. Corn is an excellent source of carbohydrate, and it’s cholesterol free.
